J. “Curry” Nicholson, Jr. was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, attended St. Xavier High School and graduated from Ballard High School. As a member of Boy Scout Troop 110, Curry attained the Eagle Scout Award. Curry received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business. At UK, he was a member of the Financial Management Association’s National Honor Society.

Upon graduation, Curry was employed by the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation in Colorado and served as the Pre-sold Service Administrator for the Finance Department. During his time with the resort, the company experienced levels of record-breaking sales.

Curry is a registered representative of LPL Financial and also maintains Life and Health Insurance Licenses in Kentucky. Curry holds Securities Licenses Series 7 & 66.

Curry has a genuine desire to provide personalized and comprehensive financial planning for his clients. His objective strategies implement financial practices geared toward risk management and all aspects of wealth accumulation. Curry prides himself in honesty, loyalty, and providing unbiased information. He believes these characteristics are vital in establishing long-term business relationships -- not just accounts.

Curry’s parents are Judge (ret.) James C. and Sarah S. Nicholson. He has two sisters, Lauren and his twin Elizabeth. Curry is a member of Anchorage Presbyterian Church. In his spare time, Curry enjoys golf, skiing, traveling, and volunteering with the Louisville Habitat for Humanity.
