Being a business owner for over 7 years, Ken O’Neil understands the risks and unique challenges facing owners in trying to create a comprehensive business plan. It is Ken’s mission to help educate other small business owners and individuals for financial success and security.
A graduate from Murray State University, Ken received his AS in Industrial Design, his BS in Secondary Education and his MS in Safety and Health Engineering. Six years ago, Ken was a Plant Safety Manager and Global Trainer/Auditor with Colgate-Palmolive, but was not fulfilled with his career. At the encouragement of a family member in the financial service industry, he decided to pursue a new career path as a financial planner.
Ken has a genuine interest in working with his clients to design personalized, comprehensive, needs-based financial strategies to help them protect their assets, while at the same time making sure they are properly diversifying their portfolio. His areas of experience include: Small Business Succession Planning, Retirement Planning and Qualified Plan Distribution Options, Financial Needs Analysis and Asset Allocation and Portfolio Analysis.
Ken holds his Securities Licenses Series 7, 66 and 24 with Linsco/Private Ledger (LPL) and maintains his Life and Health licenses for KY, IN, MI, CO, and MD, TX, IA. Ken is also Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) and the Indiana LTC Partnership Program Trainer.
When not working, Ken enjoys spending time with his 10 year old son, Ross. He is active in his son’s baseball, soccer, football and basketball teams. Ken also enjoys bowling.
